A Reflection with Mia

As Mia, my 9-year-old daughter (at the time of this writing) and I were returning from a walk in the park, she asked me what I was thinking. Perhaps using slightly different words, but in essence, I replied to her: “Although I often ponder about endless philosophical issues, at the end of the day, I don’t care so much for meanings or answers––query is good enough for me. What does mean plenty to me, is taking the time for being still enough to soak in awe the beauty and language of nature and rejoicing upon the goodwill of people around me—and that is something I can live happily with!
